It was great when I bought this last year, but now it isn’t working. The temperature works but I can’t set the temp for the heater to come on. The heater works fine by itself but that’s not why I bought the system! VERY DISAPPOINTED

I've had the heater for only 2 days when it saved my greenhouse crop. Temperatures dropped to 0 degrees overnight, but the heater kicked in approximately every half hour for a couple of minutes of heating, and kept the temperature above 3 degrees. Super efficient - cost about £0.12 to keep me frost free overnight.

Having used paraffin heaters for the past 12 years and experienced several dirty burns in that time i.e. finding my plants, cacti and succulents in my case, coated in a lovely black oily soot, I decided to invest in this thermostatically controlled heater just under a month ago which I have plugged into an electricity usage meter so I can keep tabs on costs. To my great surprise it is costing me a lot less to run than the paraffin heaters did because instead of burning all night this heater will only run when the thermostat asks it to. It should be noted that I am running the thermostat at 3c and the lowest temperature recorded is 2.3c and that was on a -7c night. Paraffin costs have been rising steeply as have electricity but the pros of this heater totally outweigh the cons of the paraffin heaters and it is proving cheaper to run, cleaner and more accurate. It is therefore highly recommend.

After a winter of constantly re-filling an old domestic paraffin heater (the greenhouse ones commonly available being mostly useless) on cold dark nights I have opted to buy the BioGreen Palma electric heater. The heater alone costs very little more than a delivery of four 4litre bottles of paraffin and has paid for itself already. I chose to add the digital Thermostat and now have a properly controlled temperature environment in my greenhouse - the paraffin heater was on constantly if I were not in attendance and the Palma cools the area during warmer days and keeps the greenhouse warm on cold nights so I can forget about constantly monitoring the greenhouse and get on with other tasks.. I wish I had bought the Palma and Thermostat some months ago.

Absolutely delighted with my Palma heater! I lost a lot of succulents in the mid December freeze so my husband bought me the Palma heater. Your website was easy to use, delivery was prompt and setting everything up in my greenhouse was really straightforward. Highly recommended. Now have piece of mind that my succulent collection is protected. Can’t comment on the cost to run yet but I imagine it’s much cheaper than replacing your plants.

First off. I love this heater for my greenhouse. I did have an issue with the thermostat and BioGreen promptly sent me an overnight replacement. It was still under warranty and I had no out of pocket expense. These folks are very nice, very helpful and quickly resolved the issue! I just can't say enough about this company. To be honest, I haven't yet really had the chance to use the heater. This is a replacement; the first one I received was defective, but under warranty was replaced almost immediately with very little effort on my part; the new heater was received in just a matter of days. The customer service I received was excellent.

Excellent ability to control temperatures this winter in my 4’X8’ lean-to greenhouse. The range of settings allow you to set temperatures just above freezing or as high as you need for the winter. I will look forward to also using the fan setting for the summer to keep the greenhouse from overheating during the day.

The product is good and effectively heats our greenhouse, but what is as important is that the company adheres to good business values. As with any device, failures can occur. Our Palma heater stopped heating - after the warranty ended, of course. In an effort to try to get it repaired, I contacted the company. I expected advice as to how to get the part, or even a repair service. Instead, they simply sent me a replacement - warranty or no. In today’s world, this degree of attention to principles is rare.
